SM Entertainment Co., Ltd. is a South Korean entertainment company founded in 1995 by Lee Soo-man in Seoul. One of the leading K-pop agencies — often called one of the Big Four — SM has launched and managed some of the genre's most influential acts, including H.O.T., BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and RIIZE. The company is listed on the KOSDAQ exchange and operates artist management, music production, and global fan engagement platforms.
