The Pokémon Company

The Pokémon Company is a Japanese company founded in Tokyo in 1998 and jointly owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures. It manages the Pokémon brand worldwide, including licensing, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, merchandise, the animated series and events, and co-produces the video games. Through licensed partners such as Pop Mart, Funism and Medicom Toy, Pokémon characters also reach the designer toy and blind box market.
